I didn't feel well from the start today and thought it would pass as the morning wore on. I had pains in my stomach and attributed it to something I ate, but couldn't pin point what it was. Rich felt fine. Even the walk to the office didn't work it out of my system.
The morning was busy for Elder Kroff as he had to call the zone leaders to find out what money was spent in their zones this month and figure out how much reimbursement they needed. He can never get it done in one morning before they go out for the day. So he will continue tomorrow.
I decided this would be a great day to work steadily on getting my new missionary binders put together for the upcoming transfer in December. With 23 new elders coming (no sisters), I couldn't leave it until the last minute. I already had about six or seven done, but I got on a roll and put together another eight before I couldn't be in an upright position any longer. My whole body ached and I needed to lie down. So I closed up shop at 2:00 and went home to go to bed. I will finish the carpetas tomorrow.
Rich stayed and decided he would attend the District Meeting they have every Monday afternoon at 3:00 over in the chapel. We usually don't go to them because someone needs to be in the office. It is more important for Elders Paz and Coria to attend so we man the office. Rich didn't make it on time, but he made an appearance and took this great picture. Aren't they cute! On the front row are Elders Urra, Curtis (an assistant), Pugmire (an assistant), Henderson (Dist. Leader), and Elder Paz. Back row are Hermanas Collinwood and Cano (we work with them in Tigre), Elders Quinteros, Martinez, Davis (the blonde), Moeller (zone leader), Coria, and Kroff. I am so glad he thought to take a picture of the group.
Rich came home and after walking to the Farmacia for our meds, he walked down Peron to our favorite fruit/vegetable market to replenish our supply of oranges, mandarinas, and bananas. A good nap did the trick and I woke up feeling much better. At least good enough to do this journal entry -- and it is only 7:30. Now that's a first!!!
I think Sister Kroff looks really good. You can't tell from the picture how much pain she was in. She went home right after this picture was taken!
