Wow, this week went fast! Here it is Friday again. It seems the more we get involved with everything, the faster time goes. Our mission is going to be over before we know it, and we are not sure we will be ready for it to end when the time comes.
The office work went smoothly today, not much to tell about it. I ended up entering 53 baptisms this week which is a record for me. This was two weeks worth of performing the ordinance. Because of stake conference, confirmations couldn't take place one of the Sundays, so no baptisms could be reported that week. I was proud of myself for getting them all entered timely. When I was first learning how to do it, I was so slow. But, now I am getting faster and can flip through the screens pretty rapidly now.
Later in the day, Sister Argyle came to the office to scan and fax applications to renew their international driver's licenses. They forgot about them expiring and were now a bit panicked about it. She had mailed everything to her father, but it hadn't arrived, and they were under pressure to get it done, as the licenses expire on June 30. So, with the help of Elder Nelson, they got everything done and were ready to email her Father. He was going to go right down to Triple A to get it done. Then they were going to DHL them to Argentina in hopes that they would arrive by Wednesday. It took quite a bit of work to figure out how to do and attach everything, and right before emailing it, they got a call from home saying that the hard copy ones came in the mail today. Whew!
What to do tonight, we wondered as we were finishing up our work. Rich went to a 4:30 appointment with the elders, and when he finished, we decided to go to the Unicenter and get some cables that will allow us to hook up his iPhone to the TV so we can download movies and watch them on the TV instead of on the computer. We have one to watch, but haven't done it yet, because we thought the computer screen would be too small. There is a Mac store in that mall, so Rich wanted to check it out anyway. We were successful in finding the cables.
We ate at the Food Court in the mall and then just walked around seeing what there was to see.
After we arrived home and unloaded the groceries into the elevator, Rich took the car back to the office. He heard music over at the church, so he went to see what was going on. It was a Multi Stake Single Adult Dance (over 30). This warranted taking pictures, so he captured the group dancing. . . with or without partners.
They seemed to be having a good time. There was a disc jocky there with music that everyone seemed to enjoy. To end this entry, there are two video clips. Hope it works on your end.
The video was fun! You should put some videos of the two of you!
