Transfers tomorrow are a big deal, and if we can pull it off without a hitch, we will all be relieved and happy. The Argyles said this is the largest one they have ever had - 23 missionaries. Something is bound to happen, but we hope not.
In the morning, Elder Kroff had to take a check over to the mission home to have the President sign it. I really didn't care to go because I had the Christmas packages for the South to box up and label, but I felt guilty letting him go alone because he always feels safer with an extra pair of eyes to watch for cars and people. So I jumped in at the last minute and accompanied him on the short trek.
When we got back I attacked the Christmas packages. They filled seven nice size boxes. The company that is going to transport them to the South can't come until Wednesday to pick them up, but assured us that they would arrive by Christmas. I just know that as soon as the truck pulls away, more will come for those missionaries.
I came home and finished preparing food to take to our office elders tomorrow. I have been wanting to feed them, and knew tomorrow would be a super busy day. But, Tuesday is also a day that they don't have a meal provided by a member. So I prepared stewed chicken in gravy, mashed potatoes, jello salad, corn, and bread. We took it up and put it in the fridge at the office so it would be there tomorrow. We are leaving in the morning by remise to go to the mission home to accompany the Argyles to the airport.
I am behind on my daily entries, so I just had to get Sunday's completed and posted. So I went to bed after midnight. It's going to be a short night.
